Dr. Mahathir Mohammad former Malaysia Prime Minister now a millionaire. From the article in his blog, he said that he’s now got more than a million visitor.

Touching one million hits among bloggers seem to be something to be celebrated. I was told that most bloggers will congratulate each other when one of them hits the million mark, and call the one millionaire.

even though he only started blogging about a month ago. Now his blog reach the number of 1 millon visitor. Welcome to the millionaire club.

In the middle on May 2008, he made a very shocking action by quitting his participation from UMNO (Malaysia Biggest Political Party). I’m not very sure that his decision, influenced from other party like PAS or PKR. But I’m sure, he’s making the decision on his own convictions.

BTW, no matter what, he’s now a millionaire and I can’t  beat him because his article too good and he’s very professional in everything. Right now after 4 month online this blog only got visited by 4697 visitor from all over the globe esp. Malaysia. Although, he’s is not the one that organize all blogging work like comment management and other but the idea of writing 100% from his view. That’s what I like to visit his blog.

I note that now the government has recognised the importance of the blogs. It is proposing to have its own blog. But more importantly the mainstream media are now quoting from the blog and even dare to write on formerly forbidden subjects.

I completely agree with his statement because Malaysian started to find other alternative source of information like blog or online newspaper. Like all of you know the www.harakahdaily.net and www.klpos.com got more hit after PRU12. Malaysian notice that the media it’s not limited only for local newspaper or television.
